Sunshine Coast Strength is the Coast’s premiere strength training facility. We believe that our new school training approach, combined with our old school training mentality ensures the best results for our members. We focus on lifting safely; with technique being the key to our member’s success. We are passionate about developing athletes and helping them to achieve their goals.

We Offer Coaching and Programming

We have an exciting Youth Development Academy aimed at getting youth athletes as strong as possible in the safest manner. We believe that our coaching, mentorship, and elite programs build strong bodies, and strong minds.

Youth Programs

Our Youth Development Academy is split into 2 groups. The Development Squad and the Elite Team. Each Youth Academy program is run over 8 weeks. Athletes will complete 2 or 3 group gym sessions per week along with a mentor or field based sessions on each Saturday.

Sport Development

Development Squad

Our Development Squad are athletes who have not yet trained with weights, or are returning from injury so cannot use a barbell. This program is built to teach these young athletes to move correctly with only bodyweight or very light weights like sandbags and medicine balls.

Sport Development

Elite Team

The Elite Team program is a barbell based program designed to teach our youth athletes how to correctly lift weights for their chosen sport/position. We supervise the group sessions and select all the weights for each participant. This ensures the safety of the athlete, while still optimising their results.

Sport Development

On and Off the Field

Both programs will make the participant bigger, faster and stronger.. but most importantly will help keep them safe on the field. Our goal is to create a more well rounded athlete both on and off the field.
